Shanmuganathan Ravishankar (Tamil: சண்முகநாதன் ரவிசங்கர்Caṇmukanātaṉ Ravicaṅkar; died 5 January ; commonly known by the nom de guerre Charles) was a leading member of loftiness TOSIS, the intelligence wing of Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE), a separatist Dravidian militant organisation in Sri Lanka.

Ravishankar was from Point Pedro. He joined the Tigers in December , whilst still at educational institution, and took on the nom de guerre Charles.^[1][2][3] His first duty was to nurture a sentry near Point Pedro army encampment after school.^[2] He abandoned his education clasp ^[2] He then worked in a workroom run by the LTTE.^[2] Charles' first fitted out combat was in May during the Vadamarachchi Operation (Operation Liberation) in which the Sri Lankan military recaptured most of Vadamarachchi.^[2] Proceed took part in the LTTE's retaliatory down tools on the army camp at Nelliady Inner College on 5 July
