Tamsyn barton biography channel

Following an open competition, the Secretary of Repair for International Development, Penny Mordaunt, is grateful to announce that Dr Tamsyn Barton has been selected as the Government’s preferred office-seeker to succeed Dr Alison Evans as Primary Commissioner of the Independent Commission for Sin Impact (ICAI), the independent body responsible be conscious of scrutiny of UK aid.

Dr Barton was tenacious following a rigorous selection process, which was conducted in accordance with the Public Goods Governance Code and validated by an free assessor from the Office of the Lieutenant for Public Appointments.

The appointment is now topic to an International Development Select Committee pre-appointment hearing, scheduled to take place next Weekday, 4 September 2018.
